207. Victorian Double Room – Wizard of Oz
We’re not in Kansas any more! At this location on Main Street for a short time was a saloon known as “The Brick”. It was a gathering place to hear national election results by telegraph. How fitting to honor the room with the Wizard of Oz movie and its famous “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”. This room features double beds dressed in classic blue Ralph Lauren coverlets with presidential pillow top mattresses, high-quality Karastan carpeting gives a luxurious feel to the room, elegant oak quarter sawn furniture that would have been highly coveted in Deadwood’s Old West days. Modern conveniences include refrigerator, coffee and tea maker, cable TV & WiFi. The sink is separate from the tub/shower bathroom for convenience on those busy mornings. The bathroom is complimented with a marble floor and spa inspired amenities. A heated towel bar offers hot plush towels after morning bathing.
