We didn’t make history being well behaved. Deadwood events are wild. That’s why the travel website Thrillist named Deadwood one of the best party towns in America. Rodeos, food and wine festivals, songwriters festivals, professional snowmobile racing, pub crawls, and big name concerts-there’s always something happening in Deadwood. 3rd Annual Gold Rush Burger Battle
“The Gold Rush Burger Battle” is a collaborative competition hosted by the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the Lead Area Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s battle will feature one business per week, lasting 9 weeks beginning on January 14 and ending in March. The battle is between all participating businesses, and customers can rank each burger they try over the weeks. The voting window for each business will be 10 days, starting on the Wednesday of their scheduled week until the next Friday.
Visit each establishment, try their unique specialty burger, and vote on a variety of categories with a star rating system. Burger names, descriptions, and a social media highlight will be released on the Wednesday of each businesses feature week on the Facebook pages linked below. Try them all! Where Burgers Collide.
